The 19 guests joined the transformational experience as part of their ‘Our People & Planet’ program, designed to give back with a gentle mix of work and play.
The group joined Tourism Noosa’s Tread Lightly Noosa activities, including:
• Trees for Tourism tree planting morning of 500 native species in the Noosa hinterland, joining Noosa & District Landcare and the Noosa Alive, Wild Women Adventure Race and Great Noosa Trail Walk events
• Plastic Free Noosa beach clean-up of Noosa Main Beach and Noosa Woods, collecting 17kg of waste
• Guided Kabi Kabi environmental walk of the Noosa National Park
• Noosa River cruise to learn about migratory shorebirds and oyster ecosystems.
The group chose to stay at RACV Noosa Resort due to their Earth Check accreditation and policies on reducing carbon emissions and landfill diversion.
